Who We Are

New Zealand International Dance School (NZIDS) is a specialist training school for children and teenagers. Through structured teaching, performance opportunities and age-appropriate progression, we help students build strong technique, artistic confidence and a genuine love of dance.

Our Mission

At NZIDS, we believe great dancing starts from the ground up. Our mission is to develop disciplined, expressive and confident young dancers through high-quality training that strengthens the body, sharpens technique and nurtures artistry.

We are committed to:

  • Providing systematic, high-quality dance education

  • Building each student's technical foundation, musicality and stage confidence

  • Creating a positive, professional environment where every child can grow

Our Instructors

NZIDS is supported by a team of 15 professional instructors across Chinese classical dance, ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop and more. Our teachers hold internationally recognised RAD, ISTD or NZAMD qualifications and bring rich teaching and performance experience to every class.
